Why I Started Michelle's MindFULL Nutrition
Dec 13, 2024Have you ever felt overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice about what to eat? I know I have. My journey toward understanding nutrition began when I decided to take control of my own health. Along the way, I realized that choosing the right foods isn’t just about calories—it’s about finding a balance that works for your life and your goals. I noticed how much more vibrant and energetic I felt by simply paying attention to what I was putting into my body.
After years of improving my own habits, I knew I wanted to make a difference, to help my community and others ready to embrace positive change. I decided to deepen my knowledge, earning my NASM certification and drawing from my background in microbial and cellular biology, as well as 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Science has always been a part of my world, and I use it to guide practical, sustainable strategies that help people thrive.
But it wasn’t just science that drove me to start Michelle's MindFULL Nutrition—it was the people around me. I’ve seen so many friends, family members, and colleagues struggle with health concerns like heart disease, diabetes and obesity, often rooted in poor eating habits. I realized I could help by offering personalized support, education and coaching for those ready to make lasting changes.
